Mr. Tsukamoto gave me one of my first haircuts in the late 1950s. I never forgot his name (Yo) or his face. I remember him so well, because I cried when I got in the chair and he calmed me down and was so kind and friendly. I am nearly 60 now, but the memory of his kindness is one of those irreplaceable childhood memories. May he rest in peace--and my thanks to him from across the years.

Rest in peace Yo. You were Sacramento baseball.

I remember 1st walking into your shop. I saw those glasses and went whoa... Yo. I thought can this guy see? Then you welcomed me in, sat me down and told me one of your stories. I thought what a great man and immediately recognized what a priveledge it was to hear your story. They don't make men like you anymore. You were truly a treasure. Your hair cut was nice, but your story was worth gold.

Good bye Yo, we've lost a piece of Sacramento history. My sincere condolences to the family. I am truly sorry for your loss.
