Kip L. Gregory

1947 - 2021

CATTARAUGUS - Kip L. Gregory, 74, of Cattaraugus, passed away Monday (Oct. 25, 2021) at his home.

He was born Oct. 11, 1947, in Gowanda, son of the late Lynford and Mildred Sullivan Gregory. He married the former Marlene Hintz, who survives.

For many years, Kip owned and operated his dairy farm and was active with showing Jersey cows locally at county fairs as well as the state fair, and he would win many ribbons throughout the shows. He was also active in Future Farmers of America and enjoyed taking care of his property through the years.

Kip was also a past member of the Cattaraugus Volunteer Fire Department and was a proud co-owner, along with his wife Marlene, of Cattaraugus Pharmacy.

Besides his loving wife of 40 years, Kip is survived by three sons, Kyle (Jamie) Gregory of Lower Burrell, Pa., Kris (Shaelin) Gregory of Pendleton and Ken (Ashley) Gregory of Columbus, Ohio. Also surviving is a brother, David (Nancey) Gregory of Irving; and five grandchildren, Blake, Addison, Harper, Peyton and Kristin; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday (Oct. 28, 2021) from Mentley Funeral Home lnc., 411 Rock City St., in Little Valley. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday (Oct.29, 2021) from the funeral home. Burial will be in Liberty Park Cemetery.
