Angie Elizabeth Kirk Sides

Angie Kirk Sides SHERRILLS FORD - Angie Elizabeth Kirk Sides, 84, of Sherrills Ford, passed away on Sunday (Sept. 18, 2005) after a period of declining health. Mrs. Sides was born Nov. 16, 1920, to the late J. Hinton and Mabel Lipe Kirk in Rowan County. She was a graduate of China Grove High School and Marlboro Business College. Mrs. Sides was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Cecil E. Sides. Survivors include son Kenneth E. Sides of Sherrills Ford; daughter Nina S. Eckard and husband Jerry of Sherrills Ford; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Service : Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church, Sherrills Ford, with the Rev. Joseph M. Westfall officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation : The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:30 tonight at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home, Mooresville.
