"I remember Vic as a boyscout climbing the shear rock face of Hanging Rock with nothing but dirty shorts and worn out tennis shoes. Even at that age he had an infectious positive attitude and absolutely no fear of trying anything. All the girls loved him in High School and you were lucky to get him , Starr. He hid his explosive talents and personality behind a pair of glasses and a smile. Earth has lost a great one. "

Vic was a great host who went out of his way to make everybody happy. He threw great parties and really loved being with people. He enjoyed conversations on countless subjects, from the humorous to the scientific. He was always ready to extend a helping hand and delivered an unshaken, contagious optimism even under pressing circumstances. He lives with us in our memories and his smiling face will be sorely missed.
