Charles Beaver Obituary

Charles Boyden “Chuck” Beaver, Jr., age 48, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016. He was born July 25, 1968 in Cabarrus County, the son of Hazel Therrell Beaver and the late Charles Boyden Beaver, Sr. Chuck was a 1986 graduate of A.L. Brown High School and received a B.S. degree in Finance from Western Carolina University in 1990. He was also a member of the Delta Sigma Phi fraternity. Chuck spent his career in the mortgage industry, most recently as a mortgage underwriter with Accenture Credit Services. He had a deep-rooted faith and spent many years at Concord First Assembly. He was a wonderful caregiver and put the needs of his family and friends before his own. His greatest joy and reason for living were his children, Lilly and Trey. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by two brothers, Mike Tyner and Scott Tyner. Those left to cherish his memory in addition to his mother include his children, Lilly Elizabeth Beaver and Charles (Trey) Boyden Beaver, III; his brother, Randy (Deloris) Tyner; his ex-wife, Laurie Helms Beaver; and his long-time friend and mother to Trey Beaver, Virgie Taylor. Visitation and Service: The funeral service will be held at 4 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 17, at Whitley's Funeral Home Main Chapel, Kannapolis, NC. Burial will be at a later date. I am in shock and tears. We just went to a play in Charlotte and I had given him my tickets to Mannheim Steamroller because my sister is in the hospital. I have no idea how many plays he went with me to see and loved them all. Funny===unbelievably funny,,,,could have laughs but also lament my problems to him. He and I even discussed taking care of a friend's son if something happened to him. I am saddened that my friend who was always ready to go with me will no longer be at my side. He doted on his children and took care of his mother. I love you and will so mill miss you.

You will be missed my brother. I really enjoyed reconnecting after all those years away - you were always a hoot. I just can't believe this, it's surreal.
