David Rea Obituary

David Lee Rea, age 52, of Kannapolis, died Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Levine & Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville after a period of decline. David was born March 16, 1963, in Edenton, a son of the late Carl and Joyce Ward Rea. He was a long-time area resident. David was employed at Ruth's Salads, Charlotte, as a production manager and was owner/operator of Rea Exteriors Pressure Washing Service. He will always be remembered as a hardworking and loving father, who will be dearly missed. Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Tyler Rea and wife Ericka; his special aunt, Evelyn White, all of Kannapolis; three brothers, Carl, Marvin and Ronnie Rea; one sister, Carol Strenio; as well as many other loving relatives. Arrangements: His funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 11 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ralph Adams and Rev. Anthony Redfearn officiating. Burial will follow at Kannapolis Cemetery. The family will receive friends, from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 10 at Whitley's Funeral Home. Memorials: Should friends desire, memorial donations may be made to Levine & Dickson Hospice House, 11900 Vanstory Drive, Huntersville, NC 28078.
