Gregory,

I still cant believe that your gone, I never knew how much one person can miss another all of our pictures make me smile, but they also make me miss you even more. I met you about six years ago and we became real close and we started dating on 4-22-07 and that was the best day ever! You filled my heart with your love and your love is what I will cherish forever. There isn’t one day that passes where I don’t think about you. I thank god that he put you in my life I was blessed to have the time I did with you. It tares me up inside to think about all the plans we made for the future, but never had the chance to make them happen together. You are such a gorgeous person inside and out and you touched so many people with your warm presence, and your amazing personality. I will never forget all the amazing memories we have together. No one can or will ever take your place. You will always have a special place in my heart. I know that you will be watching all the people you love up in heaven, and you are smiling down on your wonderful family.
You may be gone, but Never forgotten.
I’ll see you later.

I Love You Gregory Lee Terry,
Forever Till The End!

Greg is my oldest son. I will miss him so much. He was a beautiful person, inside and out. He had a smile that would melt any heart, and personality that could make a friend in minutes. He loved to skate. He had his skateboard with him everywhere he went. He broke his ankle once jumping off the top of WRHS' roof and had been ran off for jumping off the top of Mitchell College in Mooresville. He would help anyone do anything. I am so sad that he is gone, but I know I will see him some day in heaven! I only wish he would have been here longer, so I could see where his life went. I know he wanted to go into the Navy, but I would have loved to see him get married and have a family of his own. I love you Greg! See you later !

Greg..
I miss you so much and it gets worse as the days go on. I cannot believe I'm never going to see you at the pines or at dinner or at my house ever again. It is easier to handle knowing that you are in a better place now looking over us, but I still wish you were here with me. This all happened so fast, we were still suppose to get together more before I went to college and you went into the navy and now I can't even see or talk to you. I miss you more than you could imagine. I've never met anyone who was more caring or more helpful than you were. You were always doing as much as you could so I wouldn't have to do anything. You were such a great guy and I'll never forget you or the fun times we have shared together. Your family is in my prayers. I'll see you eventually :)

Greg,
As I look through this guest book, I see how many people outside of the 704 area knew you. I guess I can say I didn't know you as well as some of the people who signed this, however, losing someone you knew is a tragedy and truely was shocking when I heard the news. Your family is in my prayers, and you'll be missed by lots of people. I'm going to miss having you show up at my house to say hi, talking to you on aim, and texting you too. You always cared about how I was doing and never did I think that would end anytime soon. I'll miss you. RiP.

Greg Terry is and was my first cousin. He and i were separated by a lil more then a year in age... Although we spent most of our childhood together growing up at my grandma and grandpas while my parents were out of town working, we lacked the bond that which brothers are born with. Always getting in trouble, arguing, fussing, and often fighting like kids do... haha, we always seemed to make up and get along. lol. but as we got older, we began to have more and more in common, music, movies, girls, sports, outlooks, personalities, etc. I looked at Greg as a brother, and i regret that we had all that in common, but i didn't take advantage of it more then i did... Greg will always be in memory as the little kid that didn't duck when i drove our little red car under the trampoline when we were tots... lol. I will miss you bro. You meant more to me, then i ever showed. I love you cuz. Watch over us all brotha

I have known Greg since kindergarden at Mt. Ulla. In high school we didn't spend a lot of time together, but when we saw each other we would speak. I never thought we would lose 2 in our class. The family will be in our thoughts and prayers. "For With GOD Nothing Shall Be Impossible" (Luke 1:37) Remember this verse, it will help you get through the pain.

We were heartbroken to hear about Greg and there are no words to describe how much he will be missed. He was a great friend to my son, Ryan Shackleford, and inspired him with his skating ability. I saw Greg more when he lived closer to the neighborhood but had not seem him recently, although he and Ryan were together quite a bit. When he was around the house he was always friendly and polite and I was glad he watched out for Ryan when he first started skating. There will be a great void in the hearts of all that were fortunate to have known Greg and just know how deeply your loss is felt by all. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

My prayers and love go to the whole family. As long as you live you will never understand why the Lord has called him home at such an early age. His task her on earth has been completed and now God needs him in Heaven to work. Always remember God does know what it is like to lose a son, he watched his son die on a cross. You are asking how I know all of this ~ I gave my son back to the Lord 9 years ago at the age of 19 in a car accident due to two drunk men standing in the middle of the road. May you always feel the love of God. Lean on your family, friends and your church. They will help you get through this. God bless each of you!
