Jamie Vee Franks, age 43 of Salisbury, died unexpectedly at her home on Monday, August 23, 2021. Born November 19, 1977 in Rowan County, Jamie was the daughter of the late Edward Ray Franks and Velvie Epps Franks. In addition to her parents, Jamie was preceded in death by her daughter, Alyssa Vee Webb. Jamie spent her life devoted to her family. She was a loving mother and grandmother and her children and grandchildren were her world. She loved being outdoors just spending time with her grandchildren. She loved to cook for her family – chicken and noodles being of their favorites. Her life was not yet complete, as she was taken way too soon. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Tyler Ray Bost, Christian Isaiah Smith, Alexis Shianne Lawing, Destiny Amber Louise King, Starrla Michelle Smith and Lyssa Vee Webb. She also leaves behind her brother, Johnnie “Ray” Franks (Karen), her step-mother, Joann Kelly Honeycutt, her grandchildren, Kasen, Hayden and Emersyn, along with special friend, Chris Webb and his family. Arragements: Visitation for Jamie will be on Saturday, August 27, 2021 from 1:00 – 2:00pm at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove. Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 2:00pm. Burial at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove will immediately follow.
