Jane Stoner Obituary
She was born March 8, 1952 and was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. With a career spanning over 40 years as a talented hairdresser, Jane touched the lives of many with her skills and warm personality.
She was married for 32 wonderful years to Stephen Ralph Stoner, Sr. who survives her. Jane was the cherished daughter of the late William Clarence Harkey and Pearl Wall Harkey, and she leaves behind her loving brother, Milton Harkey, along with her dear children Connie Strickland (Tom), Mark Cauble (Mona), Steve Stoner (Lori) and Matthew Cauble (Shasta).
Jane was a proud MawMaw to nine grand-children: Jenna Cauble, Sarah Glass, Sawyer Strickland, Noah Cauble, Sophie Strickland, Maddison Cauble, Taylor Cauble, Devyn Solomon, Matthew Solomon, and a devoted great-grandmother to Beckett Glass. She will also be missed by life-long friends Earl and Charlotte Myers.
A devoted Christian, Jane's faith was the cornerstone of her life. She loved her family deeply and found joy in making quilts and spending time lakeside by the camper. Her kindness, sweetness, and passion for life left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Jane's legacy of love and generosity will forever be remembered by her family and friends. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
The family will greet friends and relatives on Friday, January 24, 2025, from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Salisbury, NC.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 24, 2025, in the Emmanuel Baptist Church, Salisbury, NC, with Pastor Dale Kinley, officiating.
Burial will take place in the Oakdale Baptist Church Cemetery in Spencer.
Memorials may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church, 2300 Bringle Ferry Road, Salisbury, NC 28146.

We always enjoyed Mrs. Stoner coming in to the Cato in Lexington.. Such a sweet lady and one of those ladies that made working with the public a joy. Love and light to her family and loved ones.

Jane was one of the kindest most humble and loving and empathetic people I have ever met. She was an awesome Woman of God and she is resting and healed in the arms of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Praying for her dear sweet family and friends at this very difficult time of great loss.
