Lori Bridges Obituary

Lori Lee Bridges, 49, of Boise, Idaho, went to her Eternal Home on Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2018 after a two-year battle with pancreatic cancer. Born Sept. 19, 1968 in Phoenix, Ariz., she was the dear daughter of Orval Royal Wetzel (Roxan) and Carol Ann Worthy (Acey); wife of Mark Bridges; mother of Courtney James Schwanz (Alex) and Casey Lee Darr; sister of Wendy Sprague (Jeff), Tamie File (Alan) and Mikey Wetzel (Lily); and additional family members. Always a spirited person, she used her illness to spread her love of Christ to others and giving away her homemade stained glass hearts. Her fervent prayer was to leave this earth with grace and courage. In addition to working in stained glass, she loved her Harley motorcycle and visiting Israel with Mark, her beloved husband of 16 years. Lori was a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served her country for 20 years. Service: Per her request, her memorial will be held in Salisbury, where some of her family resides. An open house-style celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Aug. 11, 2018 at the home of Carol and Acey Worthy, 321 E. Bank St., Salisbury, between the hours of 12-7p.m. Lori's favorite color was purple.

I met Lori a couple of times at her mom's home in Salisbury. What a delight and Christian woman she was. Although she had so much going on, se had a beautiful smile on her face and a bright light shinning in her lovely eyes. Lori, you will be missed by many. We know you are resting safely now, in the lovely arms of Jesus,
