Lucille Conrad Lowder

1923 - 2021

Lucille Conrad Lowder, 98, of Hendersonville went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Mission Hospital, Asheville after a brief illness. Born June 11, 1923 in Forsyth County, she was the daughter of the late Everette C. Conrad and Elizabeth Stimpson Conrad. She was educated in the Spencer schools and was a homemaker. Mrs. Lowder was a member of Mountain Park Baptist Church, Stone Mountain, GA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, William Charles Lowder, Jr. on August 6, 2012 and eight brothers and sisters. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Marlyn Lowder Carroll of Mills River and Charles Steven Lowder and wife Judy W. Lowder of Lilburn, GA; grandchildren, Loren Anthony Angelo and wife Denise, Anthony Charles Angelo and wife Cynthia, Ryan Mario Angelo, and Sarah Elaine Lowder; great-grandchildren, Andrew Troyer, Lauren Angelo, Jack Angelo, Maxwell Angelo; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service will be held 11 AM Tuesday (Sept. 21) at Rowan Memorial Park with Pastor Shane Roberts of First Reformed Church in Landis officiating.
