Virginia Seip Obituary

Virginia G. Seip, 77, of Frenchtown, NJ, passed away on Monday November 1, 2010 at the home of her son in Springtown, PA. Born: March 27, 1933 in Erwinna, PA, daughter of the late Calvin and Mary Gilmore Bryan. Virginia lived in Frenchtown, NJ for most of her life. Personal: Virginia's beloved husband, Raymond J. Seip passed away in 1982. Virginia was a homemaker and worked as a chef for many years at The National Hotel in Frenchtown, NJ. She was also employed by Hunterdon Aluminum, at one time. Virginia enjoyed collecting antiques. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Memberships: She attended Frenchtown Presbyterian Church in Frenchtown, NJ, and was a member of the American Legion Fidelity Post 113 Ladies Auxiliary in Frenchtown. Survivors: She is survived by her daughter, Winifred Kalnas and her husband James of Bloomsbury, NJ; three sons, Blair and his wife Hwa Ja of Tinton Falls, NJ, Daryll and his wife Melissa of Frenchtown, NJ and Lorne Dale and his companion Marie of Springtown, PA; her brother, Myron "Dolly" Bryan of Upper Black Eddy, PA; fifteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Duncan Seip in 2004, and two brothers David and Calvin Bryan. Services: Funeral services will be held on Saturday November 6, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd., Holland Township, NJ with Pastor Patrick Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Frenchtown Cemetery. Visitation will also be on Saturday morning from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials: Memorial contributions may be made to Virginia's family in care of Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Rd., Milford NJ. 08848.
