I´m Adelaide´s daughter Raye and live in Burlington. Spend my grade school year with"Aunt Ethel " and Pet and Violet on Henderson ?Ace/Street. They taught me how to chew gum and "pop" it . He "hop-scotch" and I really did worship them. Both were so great to this kid from Spencer who hung with them as Aunt Ethel babysat me. So sorry about your loss and know you will certainly miss her as she was special!!! Raye Sharpe Sapp. 336-260-5833

Aunt Pat was a genuine kind, caring and loving person. I am fortunate to have fun memories of our visits to NC and she and Uncle Sonny's visits to NY and AZ. Ed and I loved her very much! Big hugs to Greg, Anne, Scott and Nick. We love you all.

I remember Patricia Epting as one of the nicest women in my neighborhood growing up. She was always happy and so nice to me.
I was friends with Greg who was more of my age. She always greeted me with a smile when I would go to their house.
She dressed so well and she always looked like a movie star. And her flowers in her yard were so beautiful. I always admired her at home and at church.
I am praying for her family that lost such a sweet angel who is now spending time with her beloved husband Sonny
You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry to learn of Pat's passing. My late husband Jack and I sat in the same pew with Pat after we moved to Salisbury in 2011 and joined St. John's. Pat was so friendly to us and we enjoyed knowing her until 2020, when all our lives changed dramatically.
I will remember her.
