Perry Kimball Obituary

Perry Charles Kimball, age 66 of China Grove, passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Atrium Health-Cabarrus after his courageous battle with Covid. Born May 13, 1955 in Iredell County, he was son of the late Charles Luther Kimball and Shirley Holshouser Kimball. Perry was a member of Lutheran Chapel Church. After school, Perry spent his career in law enforcement, retiring from the Rowan County Sheriff's Department. In his spare time, he loved hunting and fishing. He had a gift for making knives. Perry loved his family dearly and spending time with his grandchildren. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 47 years, Jackie Freeze Kimball; his son, Brian Kimball and daughter, Lisa Blackmon. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Austin and Autumn Blackmon, several nieces and nephews and many friends. A Memorial Service for Perry will be on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Lutheran Chapel Church in China Grove. The family has requested you kindly remember Perry with memorials in his honor to Lutheran Chapel Church, P.O. Box 152, China Grove, NC 28023. To the Kimball family,my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.Perry was a very nice guy.I was his dispatcher at the Sheriff's office in the 90's.He will be missed.
