Robert Hall

Robert Rhett Hall, age 91, of Salisbury, passed away peacefully Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022, at Lutheran Homes Health and Rehab, Salisbury. Born in Charleston, S.C., he was the son of the late Wilber and Katherine Hall. Bob was a graduate of Duke University with a double major in Chemistry and Finance. He had a long and distinguished career in banking and finance. Bob was known for his sharp, quick, wit and impeccable sense of style. Bob leaves two daughters, Catheryne Gilmour and husband Allan of Salisbury, and Martha Linkous of Bluefield, W. Va.; three grandchildren, Robert Weston Linkous of Bluefield, Leah Linkous Lewis and husband Caleb of Falls Mills, Va., and Courtney Linkous Black and husband Rob of Bluefield; and three great-grandchildren, Hayden, Holly, and Levi Lewis. He was predeceased by Joy Smith Burton, the mother of his daughters. The family would like to thank the personnel at Trinity Oaks Retirement, Trinity Oaks Health and Rehab, and Trinity at Home for their dedicated care.
