Rosa Allmon Obituary
She was born April 22, 1944 in Stanly County, NC to the late James and Vetra Barringer Kluttz.
She was a very active member of Grace Lower Stone Church. Past President, Secretary and Treasurer of Senior Adult Sunday School Class and Co-Chair of the Bereavement Group. Past Secretary of Friendship Circle, Treasurer of Women's Guild and Good Samaritan Fund, was a past member of Willing Workers and served on the Church Consistory and also the Mission Committee.
Rosa enjoyed retirement for 15 years. Before she began her career in textiles with Cannon Mills as a time keeper where she met her husband Jerry Allmon. She also worked for CFI as a data entry person. She ended her career as an administrative assistant at First Charter Bank.
She loved her gospel CD's and decorating for each season. She cherished family gatherings and events in her home throughout the years. She loved annual beach trips and camping was her most valued memories.
In addition to her parents, Rosa was preceded in death by her sisters Joanna McDonald and Sylvia Kluttz.
Rosa is survived by her Husband of 57 years, Jerry Wayne Allmon , Daughter, Kimberly Allmon (Gene) Ramos; Son, John Allmon; Granddaughter, Trinity Ramos; Two Grandsons, Isaiah Ramos, Cristian Ramos, brother James Kluttz, Jr. and wife Suzette and her brother in law Havis McDonald.
The family will greet friends and relatives on Monday, August 11, 2025, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Powles Staton Funeral Home, Rockwell, NC.
The memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, in the Grace Lower Stone Church with Pastor Kevin Sloop and Pastor Spencer Swain officiating.
Memorials may be made to Grace Lower Stone Church, 2410 Lower Stone Church Road, Rockwell, NC 28138.
