Travis Vinson Obituary
SALISBURY - Travis Lamar Vinson Jr., age 18, of Salisbury, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, due to injuries sustained in train accident in Concord.
He was born to Avera Blackwell and Travis Vinson Sr. in Davidson County on Feb. 27, 1994. Travis attended Rowan-Salisbury Schools and enjoyed making people laugh.
He leaves memories to his mother, Avera Blackwell (Charles Halliburton); father Travis (Juanita) Vinson Sr.; grandparents Laveren Allen, Miriam (Stanley) Martin, Zane (Patsy) Matthews; brothers Akeem Blackwell, Mario Click, Quashaun Roberts, Keion Pompey, Frank Dallas and Marquis Dallas; sisters Kionia Vinson, Sheree Vinson, Nikyah Roberts, Naja Vinson, Kendra Dallas, Kanisha (Quincy) Spears, Chemeka Layotora and Erica Caldwell; a special friend, Lisa Morales; a host of other relatives and friends.
Services: A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, Feb. 4 at 4 p.m., with a Memorial Service beginning at 5 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Dr. Nilous Avery pastor.
Rowan Funeral Services is serving the Blackwell family.

travis you will be missed and loved by so many. i can't believe you are really gone i been knowing you since 5th grade you were funny and you love to make us all laugh even tho the jokes were about us sometime. but we all will keep our head up for you and your family you will never be forgotten tj love you rip :)
