Brent was a great friend. He is and will be missed. Sorry I am just finding out today about his passing. I have moved away from Utah to get married and we lost track of each other, even thou I always thought of him as my friend.
Brent and I met at work, while I was working for EDS at Smith's food and drug. Brent and I talked about the Viet Nam war from time to time. He shared his experience with me. I was in the US Army as well and served during the war, and later the Utah National Guard, 19th Special Forces. Brent had also served with the 19th SF I believe. We were both member of the same VFW Post that he introduced me too. We would go have dinners there on Wednesday nights once a month, later I was to Join the Mason's with Brent's recommendation. We were both brothers of the Mount Moriah Masonic Lodge in down town SLC. I know how much he loved his daughters .... Please never forget that. He talk about you all a lot. You and your mother.
Your friend always, Dennis Peterson

I remember Brent from Highland High School. We shared many classes together. I will always remember the boy who rang my doorbell with a heart shaped box of chocolates on Valentines Day. My first gift from a boy. Brent was kind and always willing to help anyone.
