Adam is my favorite patient I´ve ever had. His sense of humor was spectacular. I had the opportunity to spend a lot of time with him over the past year, and I know he adored his children, he always just wanted to get home to them. He was unfailingly kind when he had every right to be angry at life. There were many times that I would find a reason to visit him just because he always found a way to make people feel better just by talking for a few minutes. I know he touched many lives, and I want his family to know that he will continue to make an impact, this nurse will never forget him.

What comes to mind about Adam is his understated sense of humor. His beautifully written obituary describes this perfectly. He was such a fun part of our circle of friends in high school. Sending my love and hugs to his kids and family.

I love Adam. I am thinking and praying for Emily, Marilyn, Jeff, and the girls. My life was better for being friends with Adam. I have great memories of many hikes, drives, and long conversations.

Dear Marilyn, I am so, so sorry to hear of your son´s passing. I remember so well when his daughter Mya was born, not long before my grandson Jake, and your stories of their little family going camping. When we lose a child, they take a piece of our hearts with them. Sending love.
