Allen Smith Obituary
Allen was born November 12, 1927 to Parley P. and Leona C. Smith. He was the fifth of nine children and the first boy.
Allen has been a life long resident of Draper and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He married Ramona Atkinson on August 2, 1948. They were sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple on April 11, 1955. They were married for 46 years and raised 6 children together. She passed away on April 7, 1993. Allen married Joyce Shields on September 3, 1993. They were sealed in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple on June 8, 2002, and were married for 26 years.
Allen is survived by: Wife: Joyce Smith, Sons: A. Kent Smith, Douglas A. Smith (Bonnie), Daughters: Annette Smith-Urie (Drew), Teresa Alvey (Mark), RaNae Booth (Michael), Susanne Webster (Barry), 24 Grandchildren, 52 Great-Grandchildren Brother: Paul C. Smith (Shirley), Sister: Clair Cordner, Brothers-in-law: George Showell, Clifford Hales, Sister in law: Marilyn Smith, Step children: Brenda Kirk, Blair Workman (Karla), Diane Bartlett and Jill Sewell. Numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday June 27th at the Draper South Mountain Stake Center, 1911 Gray Fox Drive, Draper Utah 84020 at 12 noon. Family and Friends may call Wednesday June 26th 2019 from 6 pm - 8 pm and Thursday 27th prior to the service from 10:45 am - 11:45 am. For a complete obituary, go to www.premierfuneral.com

Dear Smith Family,
We look back with fond memories to sweet visits with Allen & Joyce. We will miss our friend Allen, but know he is enjoying the associations of those who are on the other side greeting him.
We express our love and hope the spirit may bring peace at a difficult time.

To the Allen Smith family: And my dear friends, Paul, Teresa, RaNae what a loss of a dear Father and brother. I worked with Allen at the Draper Historical Society. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to get to know him. He could tell quite the stories of when his Dad was sheriff. He loved his horses and his rides in the mountains. Rest in peace my dear friend.
