Andrew Ryan Obituary

Andrew G.Ryan 1983 ~ 2003  Our hearts rejoiced July 7, 1983 when Andrew Gary Ryan was born in Heber City, Utah. Conversely, our hearts were broken when he suddenly left this world June 19, 2003 due to a tragic accident. Andrew loved and embraced life, his family and the Gospel of Jesus Christ - all with contagious joy and enthusiasm. He blessed countless lives during his all-too-short life and will always be remembered, loved and missed by so many. He is survived by his parents, Clau-dia and Don McEntire, Sandy/Maui, Gary Ryan, Heber City/Denver; sisters and brothers, Alexandra (Greg) Lovato, Natalie Ryan, Daniel Goldston, Jordan McEntire, Marcus McEntire, Cameron Goldston, Erika (Jason) Roberts; grandparents, Maryan and Lowell Ryan, Heber City; many aunts, uncles and cousins in Heber City, Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Salt Lake. Andrew will be deeply missed by many friends. He served as a primary teacher and loved the children he taught. Andrew has been called to serve a different mission now, and we know he will do so honorably and with distinction. We are so proud of you, Andrew, and we love you so dearly. Services, Hidden Valley LDS Stake Center, 1440 E. Raddon Dr. (12000 S), Sandy, UT, 1 p.m. Mon. June 23, 2003. Friends may call at the church 11 a.m-12:45 p.m. prior to services. Grave dedication, 5 p.m. (same day) Heber City Cemetery, 700 N. 550 E. Heber City, UT. Directors, Anderson Funeral Home.

Andrew,

I wish I could put into words the example you have given me - your smile, your work ethic, and the sheer joy and zest you have for life. Our Eldest brother needed to have you there so he could remind you how beautiful you are, because sometimes we forgot to do that.

Be at peace, and know that you are loved, and are a very rare, wonderful person that the world is a sadder place for not having here.

We love you, Andrew, and are excited to see what things you will accomplish on the other side.

Drew,

Although we never got a chance to know each other well, your sincerity to others shows so much about your character. You were never rude or despiteful, instead you were full of smiles and always welcoming to people around you. Your heart is truly one in a million and your good spirit will never be forgotten.

Love always,

Crysta

Dear Andrew & Family,

I have many fond memories of you coming over and visiting at my families place. I'm so glad that you were friends with my little sister, KD, and my little brother, Chris. I will always look to you as one of my little brothers. I'm glad I could sit and talk with you, and that we were able to get to know one another. You are a fine young man and I have no doubt that you will be missed. The comfort that I have is that you were and are loved by your Father in Heaven and that you are able to be with him. I'll always remeber your fun loving attitude and that great smile! Thanks for being my friend and for letting me be a substitute big sister to you. Love, Becca

I was so shocked to hear about Andrews accident on Sunday. It seems like just yesterday your kids were little. Andrew looked like he had grown into a fine handsome young man. I know your heart is breaking, but I also know the Lord sends the comfortor to help us through these times. My prayers and thoughts are with all of your family. We loved all of you when you were in Heber.
