Blake Forsey Obituary

"It is what it is"
Nov. 8, 1966 ~ Aug. 16, 2013
Blake Allen Forsey passed away peacefully at his home with his parents by his side on August 16, 2013 after a 15 month courageous battle with cancer.
Blake was born on November 8, 1966 to Allen and Dianne Coombs Forsey in Salt Lake City, Utah. He graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1984 and Weber State University with a Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine Degree in 1998. He loved building houses with his dad and did this for over 20 years. He is very proud of the fact that they built his home together. He worked for McDonnell Douglas as an Airframe Mechanic from 1989 to 1993. He worked for Sandy City Fire Department as a paramedic/firefighter from 1995 to 2011. His highest rank obtained was "Captain."
Blake was an avid fan of the Utah Jazz and would like to express gratitude to the Jazz Bear for fulfilling a dream. He loved the San Francisco Giants, to travel, dance and always had the most updated technology. His 2006 Mustang GT was his pride and joy.
Blake is survived by his parents Allen and Dianne, his sisters Teri (Richard) Hales and Kim (Larry) Harston, nephews and niece, Nick (Christina), Drew, and Kelli Hales and Zac and Alex Harston.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Craig Perry, his grandparents Ruel and Marie Forsey, and Sterling and Alta Coombs.

Dear Friend, you will be missed. It has been a number of year since we have spoke but you were always someone that I looked up to, as a kid you made me feel important there was 10 years between us, but that didn't matter to you. I remember you taking me for rides on your dirt bike, we even tried to hear the pin drop over the phone.I will always cherish these memorys. Allan and Diane our hearts and prayers go out to you and your family.

Blake was a good friend of ours, always was so cheerful and loved being around him. Blake recently had a conversation with us, he said he had no regrets about anything and that he wanted to go buy a new BMW and go to Italy... just being around him was so inspiring!! We will miss our friend, we love you Blake!! Love Always, Brandis and Brandon Hardman.
