1986 - 2014
Our wonderful Brandon passed away Sunday evening February 16th in Sandy, Utah.
He was born to Michael Kay Mitchell and DeAnne C. Howell Mitchell on June 27th, 1986.
Brandon was special from the moment he was born. He had a calming, pleasing, personality. To know him, was to love him. He could make you smile and laugh and feel happy with just his presence.
Brandon was talented in all the Arts. He was an artist, writer, actor and singer. He loved being in the theatre department at Alta High School and was awarded an Acting and Directing scholarship to BYU.
He currently worked for Cyber Source Visa, where he loved his coworkers and being part of such a great team.
Brandon is survived by his parents, Mike and DeAnne, Sandy; two sisters, Miranda, (Miles) Salt Lake City; Madelynn; Grandparents, Janice and Kay Mitchell, Draper; Bill Howell, Sandy; He is preceded in death by his Grandmother, Lelah C Howell and Great Grandparents, Elwood and Blanche Cook, Roy and Lydia Howell, Conrad and Arvilla Mitchell and Fred and Doris Webb.
Funeral Services will be held at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 10600 South 1950 East, in Sandy on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Utah Pride Center. Online condolences at www.larkincares.com

My sincere condolences to the family. I only knew Brandon for a short time, but I have to say he truly left an impact on my heart. He was such a genuine person, which is rare. I don't think I heard one negative thing ever come out of his mouth. My heart and prayers are with the family. May he find peace and rest on this next journey.

I never knew Brandon personally but I feel like I've gotten to know him and the Mitchell family over the past few weeks from all of the wonderful things my brother Nick has told me. I know he will be missed greatly. He was a shining light that can't be dimmed. I'm beyond sad and sorry I'll never get the chance to meet him. My deepest condolences to everyone that loved him.
