Gram.. Today was a hard day for me! I have avoided every Thursday at work since the 23rd of July. Today was unexpected that the Hanna/Tabby senior citizen bus came to the bank on a Tuesday afternoon. I was surprised to see your sweetest bus driver come into the bank. I looked out the window to see the bus that I loved to see you on. I gathered all the black licorice taffy's that I have saved for when the bus would come. After giving a hand full to Merlin, (you always asked me to remember to give him some because he liked it just as much as you had) I forced myself out the doors of the bank to the bus. It took all the courage that I could muster to take those few steps onto the bus that I had made every Thursday since I started working at the bank. I handed out the black licorice to each one, wishing that you were there to get your share that I saved (and hidden from everyone) for you every week. After I had given the candy out, they all said how much they missed you. Gram you touched so many peoples lives. I love you and will forever be so proud that I was your Granddaughter. I miss seeing you every Thursday, it always made my day. I also appreciated how much you cared! You always asked about everone and you were so excited when someone did something good. I know that you would have been so excited that Grandmas girl (Brin) won Queen at the baby show! When she won I wanted to call you.. For a second I had forgotten about it all.. But I know that you were watching over us and knew. I love you Gram! I have one more thing to ask, Please take care of Kaboo for us. We miss her and know that she would want to be with you until we can see you both again. XOXOXO! Love,

Mom,
I just want you to know that you are not only my mom, but you are also my best friend. I feel like I could always confide in you and tell you my troubles and also my joys. I hope you know how much I love you and appreciate all you have done for me. I don't know where I would be today without your strong testimony of the gospel and example. I love you so much and I look forward to the day when I can see you again.

I am sorry to see that "Grandma" Hackett passed away. My thoughts and prayers are with the Hackett Family at this time. Her love for others was so radiant and has certainly been passed on to her family. I feel it a privilege to have met Crystal.

Grandma,
I love you and I miss you so much. I know this is only goodbye for now and in time I will see you again. But it is still so hard. I will cherish my memories of you forever. Our trips to Hanna will not be the same without you there to visit with. You have been such a great example to me. You are truely a woman of faith. You have endured to the very end and I know that our Heavenly Father is well pleased.
Sophi misses you very much. She told me the other day that her heart is breaking for Grandma Hackett. She keeps a picture of you by her bed so she can see you every day.

We love you grandma.

To the family of Aunt Crystal,
My thoughts are with you. The deep sadness of a parent passing is intense, I still miss my Dad so much! I guess we think our parents will always be there for us and when they pass you sort of feel lost. You think, who will I call for advise? etc.
Like my Dad, I know that Aunt Crystal taught each of you incredible "life lessons" that will enrich your lives forever. Embrace and cherish these gifts!
Celebrate her life! She had an amazing journey here on earth.
God bless.
Love,
Sherilyn Aplanalp

Grandma Hackett,
I remember being a little girl playing on the farm while you were taking care of the animals when your ewe charged at me. You came out and saved me from her with your pitchfork. A few days later that same ewe died. I felt so guilty feeling that I was the reason for the ewes death. As I grew older and realized that while saving me from that ewe, you had made a sacrifice for me. Grandma you have sacrificed so much and in so many ways. You’re example to your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and also those who knew you will always be remembered. I’ve always enjoyed our time together. You are truly one of my best friends. I love you grandma!

I will miss Grandma so much! She had such a great love and dedication to the gospel and to her family. She was a very giving person. She could never turn down an opportunity to help or serve someone else. She was a very hard worker. She had a strong testimony of the gospel. She was such a great example to me and I will never forget the things I learned from her. I love you Grandma!

Mom,
Thanks for all you have done for me. I love you so much. I don't think there could ever be a mom, or grandmother that is as loved as you are. You have been the greatest example to me in my life. I don't know what I will ever do with out you. I am going to miss calling you up on the phone to tell you my problems, nobody cares like a mother. But I know you will be with us in spirit, and I hope we will all make you proud. I love you.

Gram! What an amazing lady! Hanna will never be the same with out you. Or lets say life will never be the same with out you. I will miss calling you and asking what you are doing to hear "just sittin around lookin pretty"! Also, I'm going to miss showing you the fish that we caught from the river bottom and having you be just as excited about them as I was to catch them. You were a fisher of men yourself Gram! Because of you and your shining example, you have helped bring so many to the church that you loved so much. I'm beginning to understand the big picture that you have always envisioned. Thank you for showing us all how to love and care about others. Your example will shine on forever though your Kids, Grandkids, and Great-Grandkids. I hope we can all live the way you did so we can have our eternal family forever. We love and miss you! You will be in our hearts till we meet again Gram.. when we will both be spring chickens! :) XOXOXO!

Many of my greatest childhood memories involve my grandma Hackett. I always looked forward to spneding time with her on the farm. She has always been a great example to me and my family and always thought of others before herself. She will be greatly missed. However, I can only image the joy she must have felt when she was reunited with her mother, sisters and brothers, and other loved ones on the other side. I love you grandma.

Crystal Hackett has been a wonderful friend of mine since my earliest memory. I am sorry to see her go, but I know the love she had for her mother and sister who have gone on ahead, and I am certain they are having a wonderful reunion. God bless you all. I know she will be greatly missed by you, her children, and by your children. My thoughts have been with all of you since I heard of her passing.

She taught me many things just from her example, her love of the gospel and wanting nothing more than for her family to live the gospel, hard work, saving, and living life to her fullest. When ever you went to Grandma's she'd always want to feed you. :) Sometimes you'd even get a surprise from the fridge. Grandma loved her cows...and loved to go out and watch them graze in the field, and she loved working for the post office.
Grandma, I will miss you! Thank you for everything!

Grandma, I will forever love and cherish the times I spent with you. You were (and still are) the greatest inspiration to all your grandchildren. I especially, always looked up to you. No woman in existence has ever lived a life so closely to the way the Savior did, as you. You will be sorely missed by everyone you have ever come in contact with. I can't wait to see you again.
