I always think of David on January 29, easy to remember because it is exactly 6 months before my own birthday. His legacy lives on in his family and many friends.

I will always remember growing up in Palo Alto and all the wonderful people that live there. David was very kind to my father, Lacy Thomas before he passed away. He would visit him in the nursing home and read to him even though Dad couldn't respond. My mother, JackieThomas and I always remembered that act of ministering. I have such wonderful memories of growing up in Palo Alto and all the wonderful families there. I will always remember David coming to visit my father Lacy Thomas at the nursing home he ended his life in. David would sit with my dad and read to him even though Dad could not respond. I have so many good memories of he Bennion family through my parents, Jackie and Lacy Thomas. David was a good man who truely ministered to others. Chris Thomas Giacovelli, Salt Lake City

I'm so glad David met Connie through me. They are the perfect couple and have been great friends to me over the years. I appreciate David staying in touch with me even as he suffered with his own infirmities. He is a great man whose influence for good was enormous. I will miss him. Gary R. Barron

Dear Connie and family,
We will always be grateful for the love and support Dave gave to Steve Hayden as he entered the profession of law. Our children are blessed to have continuing friendships with yor children and for all of this, and much more, the Bennion family has added goodness to many of us. May God bless you and yours as you contemplate this tender moment of a passage. Our love, Richard and Nan Hunter
We are in California visiting Steve and Anne Hayden or would be with you today.

Although I never met this man, some of my cousins and perhaps even my sister did. He was a supportive influence on a longtime acquaintance of mine and thought of highly. May his family and friends be consoled in this seemingly early separation.

We have many memories of David's big smile, his thoughtfulness, his acts of kindness. We know you will miss your husband, father, grandfather. Please accept our sadness at his passing. Bob and Shirley Griffin
