Donald Ross (D.R.) Paul returned to his Heavenly Father July 7, 2018 after a long battle with CMML Leukemia. He was born Oct 28, 1948 in Lennox, California to Donald R. Paul and Elsie Margaret Ione Houghton.
D.R. Served in the army from 1967 through 1969. He Married Donnetta Watters in 1970 (later divorced). They had seven children. D.R. Was in different areas of the funeral service for 48 years, graduating from the California College of Mortuary service in 1976. D.R. Married Cynthia East Holbrook in 2002. He was a loving father to her three boys.
He is survived by: Melissa (Bob) Henline, Jennifer (Steve) Weis Jr., Rachel (Brian) Weight, Erin (Jorge) Troncoso, Scott (Jen) Paul, Beth Paul,Derrick (Suzanne) Paul, Michael (Brandi) Holbrook, Andrew (Eva) Holbrook, Clarence Camron, (Sarai) Holbrook. Preceded in death by: Parents, Penny (Gene) Broschart (Sister), William (Rene) Paul (Brother), Desmond Paul (Grandson).
He will be greatly missed.
A viewing will be held Tuesday evening, July 10, 2018, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and again at 10:30 a.m. prior to Funeral Services that will be held Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at 12:00 p.m. at the LDS Chapel located at 2901 West 9000 South, West Jordan, Utah. Interment will be the following day at Valley View Memorial Park, West Valley City, Utah. For more information see www.afcfuneralhome.com

D.R. was my neighbor and friend. He was very kind and thoughtful. He adored Cynthia and was sweet to her. He was a good man whom I will miss. He was always with a positive attitude and sense of humor.
