Bruce, Al just informed me of your father's passing, and I've read the Lindsay newspaper accounts. My condolences for this sudden and violent loss. I have a clear mental picture of your Dad yakking with us while the flames from the nontended BBQ were shooting up about 20 feet in the background. Always a lively party. I'll have to look, but there is a famous stag photo around, too. My best to your family.

Bruce:

Douglas and I acted together for over 25 years, and he was a generous colleague, unfailingly positive, and a consummate professional. Knowing that you and I had acted together as well, he always proudly updated me on your progress through life.

Ruth and I both send our condolences to you and your family.

Bruce - Your father and I worked together for about 4 years. I was very fond on him; he taught me a lot! We stayed in touch for most of the time he was retired but I lost contact with him when he moved. I was delighted to bump into him in Produce Depot just a few months ago, and we talked may times after that. I think of him often now.

Please accept my most sincere condolences. I know full well how much you and Deborah loved him and how close you were. He was a great friend, Naval Officer, Dad and Grandpa.

Deb/Bruce - I'm sure you know how much Douglsa and auntie Syb meant to me, and to so many of us at the theatre. Their contribution can't be measured in words - they were the heart and sole of that theatre for a generation of performers and crews - and to me, good friends and mentors.

Please know our hearts are with you at this difficult time and that you can call on me anytime for anything you might need. Thank you for sugesting the donations and we'll certainly do a memorial at the theatre as soon as possible

Hello to Bruce and Deborah. I'm sorry about your loss. Everytime I BBQ a burger I recall the time our families did a BBQ in your backyard, I think I called them hanger burgers. And how about that pig roast we had. I also recall the time you all moved to Philadelphia. Road hockey tournments.
Keep well.
