Edward Larsen Obituary

1918 ~ 2011
Edward Harold Larsen passed away September 6, 2011, in Salt Lake City at age 93 due to causes incident to age. He was born March 23, 1918, in Salt Lake City to Edward Christian Larsen and Ada Rowley Larsen.
He graduated from West High School. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He married Deane Judd Larsen September 4, 1940, in Coalville, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Jordan River Temple and they were sealed to their family on July 12, 1984. Ed served over two years in the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II from October 1, 1943, to February 1, 1946, mostly in India. He worked as a carpet layer for ZCMI for 2 years and for the Postal Service for 28 years. He was a loyal husband, father, and grandfather.
He is survived by his children, David (Adele) Larsen and Janice (Kent) Ronér, eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and a brother. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a brother, and sister.
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 9, 2011, at 2:00 PM at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive, Salt Lake City. A viewing will be held one hour prior. Interment will be at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
