I am so sorry to hear about his death. I knew Erik Gold from a long time ago when we were in the Pennsylvania Harrisburg Mission together. He will be greatly missed. He always told me how he loved Jack Dempsey the famous boxer.

Dear Gold Family,

I have known and cared about all of you since I moved to Centerville in the mid-seventies. I remember Joey and Eric passing the sacrament. I remember the many games they played with Jeff as the coach. I remeber having him as a student and like Nate Morris....I will it as mischievous..He was a delightful person. When my boys (Royce and Joey) heard, they commented on what a nice and caring person he was.

My best wishes to you. I love your family.

Jeff and Barb,

I am so sorry for your loss. I have very found memories of Erik when we were little living by you all in Centerville. He was a great friend and cousin and I will cherish the memories of him and your family as we grew up together. Playing in the neighborhood, and fishing with Jeff and Dad and trying to stay out of trouble. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. "Erik, may God be with you tell we meet again"

Erik will be missed and remembered by every one who knew him. He was my best friend for many years and I loved him as a brother. I know that my family (Blair and Caroline and my brothers) felt the same. I could write a book on the years we were close buddies, but I think I'll just agree with the obituary's description of simply being "mischievous!" Thanks Barb and Jeff for raising such a fine boy. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Jeff & Barb: We loved Erik as if he were our own son. He and Abby were such good friends from the time you moved in across the street from us through forever. I know they kind of lost touch a little in the past few years, but Abby and our family always have talked of him and your family often and have really missed you as our neighbors.

We are all so very sorry for your great loss. We will miss Erik so much, just knowing he is in another place where we can't reach him at this time. Our thoughts and prayers are with both of you and Erik's brothers as well as the rest of your loved ones. Love DeeLynn and Pam Howard
