Erik King Obituary
He was born Sept 24, 200 the son of Joseph and Georgia King. Erik was limited in this life, but is now able to do everything he couldn't do, be-cause he is with God. Even with his challenges he liked to do lots of things like swim, and have people play with his hands. He also liked Mom's kisses and he loved to wrestle with Dad. He brought much joy and love to his family, and we will miss him dearly. We will miss his smiles and the love that he emulated. Everybody that met Erik could feel how special he was and what a strong spirit he has. Children especially could feel how special Erik was; they always came to him, talked with him, and love him. In spite of his physical challenges, he truly lived a life of miracles, a life his family and friends will never forget. He is survived by his parents; grandparents, William and Virginia King, Betty Lou and Carl Hunter, Ron and Jessica Lee; and other extended family. Services will be Tues. Aug 27, 2002, 12 noon, Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 W. 4100 S. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

Dear Georgia,
I'd like to express my deepest sympathy at Erik's passing. I had the choice opportunity to meet you at KimberLee Neff's house (my sister) at a toy party. It was such a pleasure to feel your sweet spirit and that of Erik's. Even though I only met him through pictures, I was touched by the love in his eyes. I felt closer to the Savior just by looking at his picture. He is such a beautiful child. I hope you and Joe were able to enhance his life with the toys you bought and that it strengthened your relationship with Erik. Thank you again for sharing Erik's sweet spirit with me. It touched my life.

We love you guys so much and are so sorry for your loss. Erik is such an amazing little boy with the prettiest eyes I have ever seen!! His spirit was so big and loving to everyone. Zachary is going to miss his playmate. You are always in our hearts and prayers. We love you.

Joe & Georgia - It was such an honor to know and hold Eric, if even for a short time. I find comfort in knowing he has no limitation in heaven. I remember the Christmas Party, when I got to watch little Erik so you two could dance. He is such a doll!!

I am so grateful for the experience of getting to know Erik if only for a short period of time. He is such a special boy and you are such wonderful parents.
