To the Funk Family,
I know how close you all were going up. I remember when Eugene used to drive us to junior high school. He really was a nice and honest man. Please accept my condolences. I was so shocked to see he had passed. Love you all. You will be in my prayers.

We knew Gene as a Salesman at Granite Furniture. His integrity and honesty will shine on him. He always had a smile upon greeting us.

I just wanted to say thank you to all the family and friends that could make it to my grandfathers funeral. It was very much appreciated. I also wanted to add that I love and miss my grandfather and that his spirit will live on. He is in a better place looking down on the ones he loved and cared about. I love you grandpa.

Dear Funk Family,
Words cannot express the sadness that I have in my heart upon hearing of Eugenes passing. He was such a kind and gentle man. He never had a harsh word towards anyone.I have so many fond memories of being around their wonderful family when I was in my youth. I really thank them all for this and will treasure them always. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Love always,

I am sorry for your loss. I went to school with Eugene in Manti, seventh grade through twleve. He always had a smile and a very kind manner. I remember that he was very good in sports, also a good student. He seemed to be a friend to everyone. I pray that God will heal your hearts and give you comfort. Sincerely ,Barbra
