This is really hard to put into words. I met Fred in 1980-81 and immediately became my friend, father figure, mentor, and left a positive impact on my life forever. My condolences to the Nudd family, you are always in my thoughts.

I met Fred back in 1981 and enjoyed every second I got to spend with him. The last time I got to talk to him he was in his 80's and had just done the Grand Canyon rim to rim. I look forward to chatting with him again. Just not too soon though.

Knew Fred since 1980 we were Charters Members of the Lions Club in WVC. Worked with him at East Canyon Resort PT providing Security. Tried to recruit me to work for WVPD but I ended it in another department little south of WVC. I was present when he and Spencer W Kimball received their Beaver Award at the State Capitol. Last time I saw Fred was about 5 years ago. Great friend and taught me a lot about law enforcement specifically not to hit a deer on my way to work. My condolences to the family.

So sorry to hear of loss of such an amazing man. He was a great man always lending a hand, trying to teach some great wisdom or putting on a demo for the mt men. The time I got to live down the street as a child to spending time camping with Fred was always done of my most cherish memories. He always had time for one more story and to answer one more question. What a legend that will never be forgotten
