I just wanted to add my words of loving sympathy to Gloria's
family. I am the friend who traveled with her to Brussels, Belgium where we worked as nannies. It was a life changing experience for me as well as for Gloria. We loved it, and it solidified our friendship and our love of French. My children in Salt Lake City informed me of her passing. I was so completely surprised and saddened. Gloria and I had lost contact in the past few years, but never our shared mutual feelings. Gloria was a brilliant and beautiful woman. I am presently in France, and so I say, "Aujourd'hui les mots me manquent. Recevez ma sincere affection.

I'm very saddened by the news of the loss of Gloria from the world and offer my deepest condolences to her friends and family.
Her gentle intelligence, thoughtful caring and happiness was a very pleasant and helpful addition to me and humanity.

I met Gloria at the Ridge Cottonwood memory care center. She was a resident with my sweet mom. I spent many lunches and dinners as she often sat by my mom. On a particularly clear memory day she shared with me her experience eating shrimp for the first time at a fancy hotel in San Francisco, and how she loved it. Other days she would speak French phrases to my very few French words I learned in junior high. One evening a few months ago when they had a musician performing she wanted me to dance with her, which I did joyfully. My sweet mama just passed away on the 11th of January and she was so kind to her. Gloria was a delightful soul and I'm lucky I was able to get to know her. Condolences to her family.
