Services: Saturday, August 8th at the Herriman Mountain View Stake Center 14068 S. Rosecrest Rd., Herriman UT 84096. Visitation: 9:30 - 10:45 a.m., Funeral 11:00 a.m. - noon.

I loved her Mormon scones, which are similar to my Presbyterian pancakes. About one week before Jan's surgery we had a long phone conversation. She talked about attending a granddaughter's wedding a week or two earlier, and how much that meant to her. She was very upbeat despite pain and inconvenience, even joked about coming to care for her Mom, then her Mom rallying to care for her. she loved her family, blended and extended, loved her husband. Jan was always a positive and caring person. She loved talking about her grandchildren and was so proud of them. I was so sad to hear of her passing. My thoughts are with you all.
