Jannette Kelley Obituary

Jannette Annabella O'Neill Kelley
June 4, 1925 ~ June 24, 2013
Jannette Annabella Kelley went to be with her Lord on June 24, 2013. She was born June 4, 1925 in Boston Massachusetts.
Jannette was educated as a Cadet Nurse. In her early nursing career she met and married the love of her life and late husband Joseph Kelley on July 24, 1947. He was a military man and the family moved frequently. In 1951 her husband went to Korea and Jan was left alone with two small children. They had four children; Joseph, Sandra, Jeff and Willard. They witnessed the raising of seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
She was an avid reader, loved her flower garden, cooking and until recently she was still knitting scarves and hats for family. Kitties were always a part of their family. She loved family get togethers and never forgot a birthday or any special occasion.
Jannette was a devoted Christian and that was the focus witness for her life. She lived and died with much dignity.
She is survived by her sister, Doris. Jan was preceded in death by her husband, Joe; grandson, Ryan; and brother, Bud.
She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
In lieu of cut flowers, please consider potted plants to be planted in Mom's name. A donation towards the Disabled Vets is another option.
Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.walkersanderson.com.
