To the family of Jared Bybee:

We became acquainted with Jared while serving as service missionaries in the 13th Ward. We mourn with you and want you to know that we also will miss this talented, kind, loving and helpful young man. His tenderness that was portrayed through his eyes and his boyish smile were endearing to all. He was indeed our friend. Please know our prayers go with you.

Dear Myrl,

We were sorry to hear about Jared's passing. We had such fun visits with him. He was so loving and sweet. I still have the picture of him feeding the chickens and I treasure it. He wrote me a letter and sent pictures of his birds. It was obvious he loved them. Please know our prayers are with you in your time of sorrow.

Love, Don and Danell

Myrl: You have no idea how inspiring Jared was to so many people. His art was such museum quality, and the love he had for his birds was exemplary to many volunteers at places like the Aviary and the Zoo. I personally know those inspired by his kindness and talent are better for having known him
