Jeff Mounteer Obituary
1962 - 2024
Heber, UT-Jeff Mounteer passed away in Provo Utah Hospital February 19, 2024, after a short illness.
Jeff is very much missed and loved by many friends, family and everyone he ever met.
He was born on February 23, 1962, at the L.D.S. Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah
Married Karin Dilger of Heber, Utah in Highland, Utah.
Parents are Richard Claude Mounteer and Faye Mitchell Mounteer from Draper Utah.
Jeff grew up in Draper, Utah, and lived in Sandy, Alpine, and Heber, Utah.
Graduated from Alta View High School and attended Jordan High School before going to Alta View, where he excelled in football, baseball, and track-hurtles, an all-around sport activity at Alta View.
Loved to ride horses, motorcycles, with brothers and friends. Camping and fishing in the summers.
Jeff loved sports, for years held Super Bowl parties at our home in Highland and his home in Heber.
Enjoyed hunting, fishing, and boating with friends and families.
Survived by his wife Karin Mounteer, mother Faye Mounteer, Highland Utah. Two sons, Brandon Richard Mounteer and Ryan James Mounteer. Two Grandchildren, Mavrick Mounteer and Easton Mounteer. Two stepdaughters, Britni Kulander and Kelsi King.
He is preceded in death by his father Richard C. Mounteer May 7, 1970.
Services will be held at Jordanelle State Park, Hailstone Event Center, Deer Hollow Road, Heber City, Utah 84032, on Saturday, March 16, 2024, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

I sure loved working with Jeff. He had that gruff personality that made it fun to chat with and joke around with him. Although we got to know each other through work, he was more of a friend then anything. I'm so happy I got a chance to know him.

Jeff was my best friend through middle and high school at Jordan and Alta. He was also my best man at my first marriage. I know he will be with us all as he enjoys his heavenly bliss.
