JOAN PARAMORE

Joan Garner Paramore 11/5/1923 ~ 3/12/2010 Joan Garner Paramore passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter, Friday, March 12, 2010. She was born November 5, 1923 in Logan, the second of six children, to Ray Douglas and Alice Zollinger Garner. She married Rulon Coltrin Paramore, November 16, 1945 in the Salt Lake Temple. They had been married for 49 years when Rulon passed away in 1994. She has now rejoined her eternal companion. They spent many years enjoying traveling in their motor home and the association with Good Sam Friends. She also appreciated and loved her friends from Kultura, Friendship Club and Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She was raised in a loving and musical family. She loved to sing and play the piano. She also enjoyed hearing her father and brothers sing. She spent many years working in the Primary Organization of the LDS Church as both Ward and Stake Chorister. She had numerous callings through the years and always did her best at whatever she was asked to do. She is survived by her children: Michael (Ora) Paramore, Linda (Danny) Pender, Andreah (Devon) Brady, Patricia (Jim) Haun, Susanne Ishmael, Cynthia Reynolds, Peggy (Brad) Symes and Randy (Cindy) Paramore; 27 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; siblings: Carmen Garner, Glenna Mickelson, Douglas (Vivian Garner, Val (Carolyn) Garner and John A. (Sandra) Garner and many loving extended family. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 18, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Crescent Ninth Ward Chapel, 10375 South 630 East, Sandy. The viewing will be held prior to services from 10-10:45 a.m. Interment will be later the same day in Parowan Utah. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.olpinmortuary.com.
