Eleanor,

We are so sorry to hear the sad news. You and Joe meant a lot to us. We could always count on Joe to tell us how to fix something or provide a history (on our house, neighborhood, WWII)

We've missed you both since you moved.

We will keep you in our prayers,

Jeff, Becky and Cole Childs
(your old neighbors on 25th E)

Dear Members of the Hebert Family,
We live in the house just over the fence on Hunter View Drive and for the past four years, since we moved into the Hunter Village area, we have often looked out at the flag flying from your home, rain or shine, night and day, and knew that a real patriot lived near us. There were times that we saw him with tools to try to straighten the flag or even replace it with a newer one. These things mean a lot to us and we know that they surely did to Joe. And so, even though we never actually met, your husband/father was a strong, positive influence for us as we became established in our new neighborhood.
May God's blessings and comfort be with you at this time of temporary separation.
