I'm sorry to hear of Joey's passing. He was an excellent home teacher and friend to Ron and I. I remember how kindly he explained the concept of death to Scott and Laurie when you were tending them and Ron's grandmother died, in terms that they could understand.
I've always remembered the blessing that he gave Laurie when she had her ear tube surgery. He didn't bless her that everything would go OK -- but he did bless her that she'd recover quickly which is exactly what happened when she had complications.
Our prayers are with your family during this time.

I am sad to hear of Joey's passing. He was an excellent Scout leader, and a good teacher. He will be missed.

What a great man. Joey made a difference in so many lives touching for good all those with whom he interacted. We will miss him deeply. Thank you my friend.
