Joe was a great human being and a wonderful boss, he gave me a chance to start my career in radio...for that I will ever be grateful to him. He had a great charm and personality to him. He was fun to be around and always looked out for me. He will be missed by all who knew him, myself included. My condolences go out to Jeannie and the rest of the Dorton Family.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Joe and his family. Although I had only known him for about a year, his sincerity, dedication, and perseverence to assist others in need at any time was a model to myself and many others. I will never forget Joe Dorton and all that he has given to me.
