Kamala Dass (aka Patricia Padgen)

1943~2025/ In Loving Memory

Sandy, Ut.-It is with profound sadness and deep gratitude for a life fully lived that we announce the passing of Kamala Dass, also known as Patricia Padgen (Backer/Dalton). Born on August 17, 1943, in Bingham Canyon. Kamala will be included in the Losar (Chinese New Year Celebration) on March 1st at The Episcopal Retreat & Conference Center (75 S. 200 E., Salt Lake City) They will be meeting in the Wasatch Room, beginning at 10:00 am. Anyone can attend. Survived by Kimberly Ann Rosenlund and Leigh Ann Marsh (daughters), Richard Banks, Nick Rosenlund, Ian Marsh, Gage Marsh, Orion Jameson (grandsons), Kyleigh Ann Rosenlund (granddaughter), Aubrey Rosenlund, Opal Marsh, Theo Marsh (great-granddaughters), Dakota and Jayden Banks, Dominick Rosenlund (great-grandsons), and Paula Grotti (sister) and Ivan Prochko (nephew).

We will be having a celebration of life for my mother (Kamala) on March 29, 2025 at the Lone Peak indoor pavilion in Sandy Utah. Starting at 6pm-9ish pm. Taco truck will be there from 6-8. Hope to see you there!
