Kevin Thomas Obituary
Our loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and nephew, peacefully left this earth on Jan. 30, 2012. Born to Gae Terry and Elwood Thomas on Dec. 29, 1953. He married "just the cutest thing ever" Penny Jean Latimer on Sept. 22, 1972. They enjoyed 40 years together. He devoted his life to teaching those around him to honor their heritage. He shared and created countless memories while preserving his family legacy at Terry Ranch. Kevin was a highly respected role model and admired employee at Young Electric Sign Company for 36 years. Survived by his wife, Penny; children, Kevin Lloyd, Leona and Rick Steele, Sami and Dewain Winget, Sandi and Tom Lopez, Mindi and Chad Walsh; 15 grandchildren; sisters, Marian and Dennis West; Sharon and Byron Maynard; father in law, Earl S. Latimer; extended family and Noah. Preceded in death by his parents; sister, Connie Lee, brother in law, Gary; mother in law, Bernice Latimer. "I'm just about right I reckon, and if ya think any different, I'll dust yer britches or pull yer ear." In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kidney Cancer Association. www.kidneycancer.org Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 2nd at 11:00 a.m. at Midvale 7th Ward, 8350 So. Jackson. There will be a viewing Wednesday 6-8 p.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, and again Thursday 10-10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment, Midvale City Cemetery.

Kevin and Penny are great folks. We had outings with them. Dinners. And just good old visiting. Two really good things about them. Penny is a great cook and Kevin was a great joke teller or story teller. We love the Thomas'

Penny I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Kevin's passing. It will take away an element of joy in any future visits to Enterprise not being able to hunt him down out at the ranch. Love to you and the family.
