LaMar Hansen passed away in Salt Lake City, Utah on January 31, 2015.
He was born January 28, 1930 to Ira Lewis Hansen and Clara May Watts Hansen. He married Beatrice Darlene Peay in Provo, Utah on July 31, 1953, later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on December 8, 1954.
LaMar was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers and sisters; and his two children, Ira LaMar and Lujean Hansen.
He is survived by his wife, six children, 22 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and sister, Clara Fay Sams.
Viewing hours: Thursday February 5, from 6-8 pm at the Pioneer Stake Center, 700 South 1400 West, Salt Lake City, Utah and Friday February 6, from 10:30-11:30 am. Funeral service: Friday at 12:00 pm. Graveside service: 3:00 pm at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah. www.valleyviewfuneral.com.
