My previous entry did not seem to get posted here for some reason. I just wanted to express my deepest sympathies to Lorin's mother. Lorin was a hero and a fighter. You are an angel. May you find peace in the coming weeks and months. Please keep in touch if you need to talk.

Lorin was a type of little-known hero in our world, who fought a good fight. He kept going and trying when many would have stayed in bed. I don't think the good Lord expects us to conquer everything at once in this life, hence the hope of better things to come. Lorin may not have continuously met everyone's expectations, but he kept slugging in the best way he knew, with what he had. Perhaps ultimately, it is the effort and the direction that count. I am deeply saddened by Lorin's passing, but I also know he would heal the sorrow if he could. He would give the shirt off his back to help someone, and he probably did. Lorin's mother is an angel and I wish her peace in the days and months to come.

Lorin - I will remember you. I work in one of your doctor's offices. This past year I have seen such improvement in you, you have really opened up with us ladies in the office. I met your puppy a couple of weeks ago, you were so cute together. Our whole office will miss you and you won't be forgotten.
