I'm sorry to learn of Mike's passing. We spent our childhood running into each other. I remember his insane ability to pick up girls and entertain any group he was in. The last I did with Mike was while he was at the Sigma Nu house with me. Sorry to have lost contact. Mike was a very unique individual and easy to enjoy being with.

I worked with Mike at the Utah Geological Survey for many years. He made every day brighter. He saw the world through different eyes than everyone else and loved to help the rest of us myopic people see what he was seeing. I loved his paintings that he would often bring and hang around the work area. There were always so many hidden meanings in each one that he patiently pointed out. Mike was like a breath of fresh air in a world that was often far too mundane. I still find his unique handwriting, which was nothing short of art in itself, when I pull old maps and files out of drawers. It gives me a big smile every time. Mike ---we're going to miss you. The world needs more souls like you!!!

I'm sorry to hear about Mike's passing. He and I worked at the same drafting company in the 80's. Then he worked with a friend of mine at UGS.
