MICHAEL ZDUNICH Obituary

Michael Edward Zdunich REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE AND WHAT YOU STAND FOR Husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Michael was born December 17, 1943 to Olga Lay and Michael Zdunich, in Marin County, San Francisco, California, and joined his Heavenly Father on June 3, 2011. Brother of three sisters, LaDean Wilden (Preceded in death) (Frank), Kim Radford (Steven), Karen Mueller (Mike), and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins that he loved dearly. Grandson of Edward and Ada Lay, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Zdunich. Married Anne Lee Eddy Zdunich on March 12, 1965, solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on May 28, 1976. Father of Michael Marcus Zdunich (Cheryl), John David Zdunich (Cynthia), and LeAnne Zdunich Sanderson (Boyce). The lights of his life were his grandchildren, Michael Zackery Zdunich, Dylan Jamison (DJ) Zdunich, Gavin Chance Zdunich, Aaron Salisbury, Quincey Zdunich, MaKinsey Zdunich, Nathanial Scott Zdunich, John Michael Zdunich, Toby Ann Zdunich, Cordell Michael Sanderson, Callen Jay Sanderson, Emery Jace Sanderson and Julian Boyce Sanderson. He graduated from Olympus High School in 1962 and was a proud and faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a member of the United States Army Reserve (1961-1969,) worked for Gledhill Dodge, Cummins Diesel, Z's Truck & Auto, Long Haul and Action Express, master Journeyman Auto/Diesel mechanic with refrigeration and trailer. He loved his Heavenly Father with all his heart, was a hard worker, good man, loving person, and just down right human with frailties. Had a strong testimony of God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost and the gospel of Jesus Christ. He worked hard every day to be the best he could be. He loved his Heavenly Father, family and friends. He loved studying and teaching the gospel with his grandsons Cordell and Julian, and was always looking for someone to help. He will be missed . . . until we meet gain. A Memorial Program will be held for him from 11-12:00 p.m. at Crescent Ridge Stake House located at 11000 S. 1300 E. on Monday June 13th. The graveside service will take place at 2:00 p.m. with a visitation from 12:30-1:45 p.m., both at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. 10600 S., Sandy, Utah. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donation be made to the LDS Church Humanitarian Fund. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.larkincares.com.
