Miriam Laukat Obituary

Cottonwood Heights, UT-Miriam Ann McAllister Laukat, 86, returned home on April 7th, 2013. Born June 10, 1926 and adopted by Brigham Wells McAllister and Lucia Isabelle Tuttle McAllister, she enjoyed her childhood years in Price and Manti, Utah. She met her husband Edward Raymond Laukat in California where they raised two sons, Tevis Raymond and Ronald Wells. Miriam was a free spirit who loved spending time with family and friends. She instilled a love of music in her children and grandchildren, and her greatest joy was seeing each of them develop their musical talents. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Ruth Laramie; and niece, Mona Rae McAllister. She is survived by her husband, Ed; sons Tevis (Sheryl) and Ron (Julee), five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. A viewing will be held Saturday, April 13th from 10 to 11:10 AM, with a funeral service at 11:30 at the Wasatch 5th Ward Chapel located at 8100 S Top of the World Dr (3675 E.), SLC, UT 84121.
