You will be missed especially now that we (the grandkids and us) have been able to reconnect. We really enjoyed your visit a year or so ago. So sorry we couldn't have visited before Phil's passing. We will see him again some day. You're family is so gracious and only wanted the best for Phil. Love you Dorotha and Lora! We hope you will visit us again. Rest in peace Phil.

Lora and other family members, I am sorry for your loss. I have not seen or spoken to Phil since the 1970's when we last played fastpitch softball together while living in the Downey/Orange County , CA area. I remember when we played in the All-Church basketball tournament in 1962 while living in the Downey 4th Ward. He was a fantastic athlete that was one of the most graceful and best athletes I have ever known. But as good as he was on the athletic filed, he was also a great person. My memories during those 1960-70's were great and Phil.s name always comes up when Mason Pearce (my uncle) and I think about those younger years. I wish I could have seen him in these later years but we moved out of SoCal. Mason and I will be attending his funeral tomorrow, as we both live in St George now. We hope to meet his children and other family members. Craig Carpenter
