Rex Goff Obituary
Rex Arnold Goff passed away November 12, 2014 following a long battle with mesothelioma. He was born August 13, 1939 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Hugh Arnold Goff and Goldie Rose Steele.
He graduated from Jordan High School, Sandy, Utah. Served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1957-1960. Worked at KCC Arthur Mill, Magna Utah for 24 years, retired from Murray City after 15 years.
Rex enjoyed golfing and fishing. He was an avid fan of baseball (Chicago Cubs), basketball (Utah Jazz), and football (Green Bay Packers).
He married Cora Lee Case, December 30, 1957 in the Salt Lake Temple. Rex is survived by his loving wife, daughters: Cindy (Steven) Jeffs, Robyn (Al) Kara, and Corinne (Jourdan) McCall. Seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, brothers, Jerry, Danny and his sister Sandra.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, November 17, 2014 at the LDS Chapel 5349 W. 9000 S. A viewing will be held both Sunday 6:30-8:30 p.m. and Monday 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to services. Interment-West Jordan City Cemetery, 7925 S. 1300 W.
